Asking For Help II: Trauma Boogaloo

On mentoring, identity, and having confidence while trans.

In the free version of the newsletter this week, I talked about how students might be scared to ask for help, or how students may not even know what questions to ask or how to ask them. This is a situation I kind myself in CONSTANTLY; even as a self-proclaimed Bad Bitch in STEM, I often find myself terrified to ask for what I need.

And there’s a pretty damn good reason for that.
